About Course

✨Welcome to my Team of Human Anatomy Lovers!✨ Even if you’re not one yet, I can assure you soon will be!

The real reason I’m doing this: I want you to feel the confidence and energy I see in my students once they have a strong foundation and can finally figure things out on their own. You’re scribing, and before the doctor says the diagnosis, you’ve already pieced it together in your mind from the image and the physiology behind it. A family member asks you “what’s going on with me, why this medicine?” and you can actually explain it. That’s what I’m giving you. The confidence to shine even brighter.

So really, the question isn’t what you’ll gain. It’s what you stand to lose if you don’t try.

See you inside πŸ«€

πŸ“– Textbooks: Anatomy Survival Guide & Anatomy Lab Survival Guide

The Anatomy LAB Survival Guide is the cherry on top – 25 Terminology Lists “Puzzles” that transform anatomy terms into connections you can see, label, and master. Every unit gives you three tools: the vocabulary you need to know, my plain-English explanations connecting it all together, and unlabeled images of the exact same models from my videos, so you can test yourself by labeling them on your own. It’s hands-on, active learning, not passive memorization.

Introduction to Anatomy
This lesson introduces the language of anatomy - positions, planes, regions, and body systems. It provides the essential framework for navigating the human body with confidence.

Tissues
This lesson introduces the four basic tissue types - epithelial, connective, muscle, and nervous. However, the main focus is epithelium and connective tissues! You’ll see how specialized cells join forces to build every organ in the body.

Integumentary System
This lesson covers skin, hair, nails, and glands - the body’s first line of defense and a powerful sensory organ. You’ll learn its layers, functions, and clinical importance.

Bone Tissue
This lesson examines bone tissue - structure, function, growth, and repair. It explains how bones are living, dynamic organs, not just rigid scaffolds.

Axial Skeleton
This lesson focuses on the axial skeleton - skull, vertebral column, and thoracic cage. These bones form the central framework of the human body.

Upper Appendicular Skeleton
This lesson explores the bones of the shoulder girdle, arm, and hand. You’ll study their structure and how they enable precise and powerful movements.

Lower Appendicular Skeleton

Joints
This lesson examines joints, their types, and movements. You’ll see how bones, ligaments, and cartilage work together to create motion.

Nervous Tissue
This lesson introduces neurons and glial cells, the specialized tissues that generate and transmit nerve signals. It explains how communication in the body begins.

Spinal Cord and Spinal Nerves
This lesson explores the spinal cord and spinal nerves, key players in relaying information between the brain and body.

Brain and Cranial Nerves
This lesson examines the brain’s structure and the cranial nerves that directly connect it to the body.

General and Special Senses
This lesson focuses on how we detect and interpret the world - from general senses like touch to special senses like vision and hearing.

Muscular Tissue
This lesson explores the types of muscle tissue - skeletal, cardiac, and smooth - and how they function.

Skeletal Muscles
This lesson studies the organization of the muscular system and how muscles work in groups to produce movement.

Axial Skeletal Muscles

Blood Vessels and Circulation
This lesson focuses on arteries, veins, and capillaries, and how blood circulates through the body.

Respiratory System
This lesson explains the anatomy of the respiratory system and how it powers gas exchange.

Digestive System
This lesson covers the organs of digestion and absorption, from mouth to intestines.

Urinary System
This lesson examines the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra, focusing on filtration and fluid balance.

I was lucky enough to take Dr. Benaduce’s class back in 2019, when she was pregnant LOL, and I still remember how amazing I felt every single time I watched her lectures and learned from her. At that time, she taught only part of the curriculum, and I always wondered how amazing it would have been to learn all of anatomy from her. So when I found out she was offering this online course, I told myself, β€œI am not losing this opportunity!” And gosh, wasn’t that the best decision I made! Dr. Benaduce can make anything look easy (I think she should teach every single discipline). After almost seven years, I am going back to school to follow my dream of becoming a physician, and just reading the Survival Guide and watching her videos gives me even more drive and confidence to know that this is really for me. I am going to be a PHYSICIAN and I will go personally thank her for that!

I am a pre-optometry student, and this course, THIS COURSE, is what made me stop hating anatomy and actually end up loving it because IT ALL MAKES SENSE!!! I have no idea what Dr. Benaduce has in her, but her way of teaching changes how you think, not just how you study. Her explanations helped me actually get it, and that made all the difference.

I knew medical school would be challenging, but I truly did not expect anatomy to hit me that hard during my very first semester (For reference, my undergraduate GPA was a 4.0, which I think gives some perspective on how difficult anatomy can feel when it is not taught in a way that actually helps you understand it). The amount of material was overwhelming, and I felt like I was memorizing an endless list of terms. It got to the point where I started questioning whether I was keeping up with everyone else.
Then a classmate of mine, who was doing extremely well, told me to check out Dr. Benaduce’s course. He had taken her anatomy class during undergrad and said that her way of teaching was the reason he was able to feel so confident and ace every exam. I decided to take a chance and signed up for Witty Anatomy, and it was the best investment I have made.
Honestly, just the amount of therapy this course saved me was worth the price LOL. Dr. Benaduce has a way of explaining anatomy that makes everything click. The lecture and lab books are true survival guides. You have no idea how much they helped me. This course gave me confidence when I was starting to doubt myself. I genuinely wish I had found it even before medical school started, so I could have built a strong foundation with Dr. Benaduce first and then simply added the extra details my medical school anatomy professor required.

Witty Anatomy gave me a much stronger foundation for the DAT, and I am forever thankful!!! I never write reviews, but this one I had to write because I need everyone to know that IT IS ABSOLUTELY POSSIBLE TO UNDERSTAND ANATOMY! The way Dr. Benaduce explains anatomy makes difficult concepts so much easier to remember, connect, and apply. For the first time in my life, I actually felt excited to watch anatomy lectures because I knew I was going to learn something in a way that finally made sense. I even found myself wanting to share what I learned with anyone who would listen. LOL Beyond helping me understand anatomy, Witty Anatomy helped me build the confidence I needed for the DAT and for my future in dentistry. This was, without a doubt, the best learning investment I have made so far.

Dr. Benaduce’s teaching gave me the foundation I needed not only to do well in anatomy, but also to feel more prepared for my future entrance exams. Her way of connecting structure, function, and clinical reasoning helped me approach MCAT-style questions with much more confidence.

Before Witty Anatomy, I felt like I was memorizing disconnected information. Dr. Benaduce taught me how to reason through the body, connect systems, and understand why things happen. That approach made a huge difference when studying for the MCAT.

This course HONESTLY SAVED me in nursing school. Nursing school anatomy was killing me. It felt so dreadful that I started thinking I was not made for this career. I had been following Dr. Benaduce on every single social media channel since my undergraduate years, and she could always make me understand. Then, out of desperation after getting a low C on my first anatomy exam in nursing school, I decided to check the Witty Anatomy website and didn’t think twice about purchasing the course. After 24 hours of having Dr. Benaduce as my new Netflix, everything was clicking. It all made sense! This course is a steal, and I am so happy I was upgraded to 5 years of access so I can continue using it until after I graduate from nursing school. Thank you Dr. Benaduce

I never imagined I would say this, but Witty Anatomy made me love anatomy. I honestly owe so much of my high MCAT score to Dr. Benaduce! The way Dr. Benaduce teaches is completely different. She makes the material meaningful, funny, memorable, and so much easier to apply. For the first time, I felt excited to study because I finally believed I could understand it. This course gave me the foundation I needed for my exam and my future program. I am forever grateful for Dr. Benaduce for helping reach my dream!

This course is what made me believe that I belong in healthcare!!! I cannot stress this enough: this course is definitely THE BEST course I have ever taken (Yes, even though it is an online course, it is still the best one!). First, it was so much more than an anatomy course for me. It helped me in my job as a scribe, it helped me prepare for the MCAT, and I am certain it will continue helping me throughout medical school. The way Dr. Benaduce teaches makes you seamlessly connect the dots and think clinically. She has a rare gift for teaching, and I am so thankful I was able to find her online and learn from her.

Before this course, I was worried about how much anatomy I needed to know for the PA-CAT. I just received my score, and that was the proof I needed: Dr. Benaduce changed everything for me. And that is why I am writing this review (something I never do!) This course did not just teach me anatomy. It taught me how to learn, how to connect concepts, how to think through clinical questions with confidence. The anatomy section was my highest score, and I cannot put into words the amount of happiness I am feeling at this moment. But one thing I can say for sure, Dr. Benaduce gave me the confidence for my next step: PA school!

I don’t even like admitting this, but I failed anatomy in dental school the first time.
It was one of the most discouraging moments of my life. I was studying so much, but nothing was sticking. I felt like I was memorizing random words, and the more I studied, the more confused I became. I started questioning if I was even capable of making it through dental school. Then I found this course and it changed everything! Dr. Benaduce explained anatomy in a way that finally made sense to me. She helped me slow down, connect the structures, understand the β€œwhy”. When I took anatomy again, I still had to work hard, but this time I actually understood what I was studying. I aced every single exam and I passed with flying colors!

I am in medical school now, and I can say this with my whole heart: this course saved me.
Everyone tells you medical school is hard, but you don’t really understand what that means until you are sitting there with hundreds of structures, nerves, vessels, muscles, and clinical questions coming at you all at once. The only reason I did not completely panic was because of Dr. Benaduce. So many times during lecture or while studying, I would think, β€œWait, I know this. She taught me this.” Not just the name of a structure, but how to think through it. How to connect it. Taking this course a few months before medical school started was one of the best decisions I made for myself.

Even when the material is challenging, Dr. Benaduce's energy makes you want to pay attention. She has an incredible ability to make anatomy exciting, funny, and unforgettable. Instead of memorizing random facts, I actually understood how everything connected and finally realized that IT ALL MAKES SENSE!
She is the reason I earned a high score on the TEAS Science section, and I know I will continue using everything she taught me throughout nursing school. I couldn't recommend Witty Anatomy more!

This course saved my PACAT score! My grade in Anatomy & Physiology was the highest (above 620), and I have no doubt this course was the reason why.
Every lecture taught me something new in an easy, memorable, and engaging way. Dr. Benaduce has a unique ability to deliver the content in a way that β€œit all makes sense,” which makes the information stick!
The book was SO good, and I absolutely loved the Witty Tips throughout it! My family basically learned anatomy with me because every chance I had, I would share what I was learning in this course. If you want to LEARN anatomy and understand how everything connects, do not think twice about taking this course. It is one of the best investments I made, as I am certain this course was not only incredibly helpful for the PACAT exam, but will also continue helping me throughout PA school as well!!! 😊
